Set up a house
Name the house, say it's you, and type the code we email you. It takes a couple of minutes on your phone.
You’re the one passing things on. Setting up the house takes a couple of minutes, on your phone.
Step 1: Name the house
Section titled “Step 1: Name the house”Open savemethat.com on your phone and tap Set up a house.
Type a name for the house, then the name the family calls you. Tap Next at the bottom.
Step 2: Say that it’s you
Section titled “Step 2: Say that it’s you”Tap the first answer, the one that says these are your things. Type your email, and tap Create the house.
Setting the house up for someone else? Tap the second answer instead, and read If you’re helping.
Step 3: Open the email we send you
Section titled “Step 3: Open the email we send you”We email you a code of 6 numbers. Open your email on the phone and find the one from Save Me That. The code works once, for 7 days.
Step 4: Type the code
Section titled “Step 4: Type the code”Go back to Save Me That and type the 6 numbers into the box. It goes on by itself after the sixth number.
Step 5: The short guide, the first time
Section titled “Step 5: The short guide, the first time”A few pages show how it works. Tap Next to read them, or Skip.
In a phone’s browser, we then help you get the iPhone app or add Save Me That to your home screen. On a phone we also ask to turn on notifications. Tap Not now to do it later.
